As Chloe, Yuki, Viv and I were strolling down Jalan Telawi, one of their staff approached and informed us of their new shop. Being curious (and without a fixed destination) we decided to check the place out.

Typica Coffee is a tiny little shop facing the two-storey terrace houses. Truth to be told, if their staff didn't guide us to their shop, we'd never find it, even when we're looking for it.
Upon walking in, you'd see two large and functional glass coffee drips. There's also a couple of funky looking coffee drips on their bar. (You can tell they're very serious about their coffee) You'd also see a fridge displaying their homemade cakes. According to their friendly staff, their cakes are made with their own jams.

All in all, the quaint little shop is quite adorable. The only problem is, they are also quite expensive.
Their homemade cakes cost RM20 per slice while their coffees are an average of RM18 per cup.
I don't know about you, but that's just ridiculous. I wouldn't even pay RM40 per cup for Luwak Coffee (but that's more to because how the beans are produced -or should I, disgested- not the taste) I certainly wouldn't be giving away my money just to be adventurous.
Maybe their coffee are the perfect blend that justify their prices. Maybe their homemade cakes taste like a slice of heaven on your tongue, that once you take a bite, it's like fireworks in your mouth. Maybe someday, hopefully soon for their sake, some else (probably with thick wallets) will just give them a chance, try them out and give them a glowing review.
Until then, we'd just stick to the reasonably priced mainstream coffee shops for now.
